Vincen Garcia, Mike Stern, Satin Soul Lead Jazz in June 2026 Lineup

Norman

NORMAN, OK — Jazz in June returns June 18–20, 2026, bringing three days of free live music, world-class artists, and daytime educational workshops to Norman. The festival will once again transform Andrews Park into one of Oklahoma’s most welcoming summer music destinations, with evening performances spanning jazz, funk, soul, fusion, and groove-driven contemporary music.

This year’s lineup features internationally recognized performers, multi-Grammy Award-winning musicians, rising jazz voices, and Oklahoma-based talent. In keeping with one of Jazz in June’s most important traditions, the festival remains completely free to attend.

In addition to the evening concerts at Andrews Park, Jazz in June will offer free daytime educational workshops at 2 p.m. each day at Norman Public Library West and The Well. These sessions give music lovers, students, and aspiring musicians the rare opportunity to learn directly from nationally and internationally acclaimed artists.

Thursday, June 18: Satin Soul

Thursday night opens the festival with Satin Soul, an all-new, high-energy Oklahoma-based collective fronted by Lacy Saunders and Rod Porter, with musical direction from keyboardist Kendrik McKinney.

Known for deep-cut funk, R&B, and neo-soul, Satin Soul delivers a dance-driven live experience featuring some of Oklahoma’s finest musicians and vocalists. Their appearance sets the tone for a festival weekend built around musical excellence, community, and celebration.

Friday, June 19: Mike Stern Band

Friday night features the legendary Mike Stern Band, led by one of the most influential jazz guitarists of his generation. Stern’s remarkable career includes work with Miles Davis, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Jaco Pastorius, David Sanborn, Joe Henderson, and many other major figures in jazz and fusion.

With 18 acclaimed recordings as a leader, Stern continues to be a defining voice in modern jazz guitar. His performance at Jazz in June brings a direct connection to some of the most important chapters in contemporary jazz history.

Saturday, June 20: Vincen Garcia

Saturday night’s headliner, Vincen Garcia, arrives as one of the most talked-about bassists in modern jazz and funk. Known for explosive live performances, millions of online views, and a massive global streaming audience, Garcia has become one of the most listened-to bassists on the international stage.

His Jazz in June appearance is expected to be one of the festival’s standout moments, bringing a high-energy blend of jazz, funk, groove, and modern bass virtuosity to Andrews Park.

Additional Featured Artists

The 2026 festival also includes a wide-ranging roster of standout performers:

Summer Camargo — The acclaimed jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader became the youngest member of the Saturday Night Live house band at age 20. Recently named one of DownBeat magazine’s “25 for the Future” rising jazz stars, Camargo brings a fresh and powerful voice to the national jazz scene.

Mark Lettieri — A five-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist, composer, and producer, Lettieri is known for his work with Snarky Puppy and The Fearless Flyers. His credits also include collaborations with Erykah Badu, David Crosby, Kirk Franklin, 50 Cent, Nelly, and many others.

Chris Bullock — Also a five-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Bullock is a multi-instrumentalist and composer best known for his work with Snarky Puppy. His command of saxophone, flute, clarinet, keyboards, and genre-blending composition has made him a key voice in one of the world’s most celebrated modern ensembles.

Fat Produce — This Miami-based soul-jazz trio blends original compositions with hip-hop, soul, funk, jazz, New Orleans grooves, and classic funk traditions.

Summer Jazz Collective — Appearing Saturday, June 20, the Summer Jazz Collective will showcase an exciting collaborative performance featuring outstanding jazz talent.

A Free Community Tradition

Festival organizers say Jazz in June continues its mission of bringing world-class music and accessible arts programming to the community. The event remains designed for everyone — longtime jazz listeners, casual music fans, families, students, and first-time festivalgoers alike.

With free concerts, free workshops, and a lineup that reaches from Oklahoma soul to international jazz-funk stardom, Jazz in June 2026 promises to be one of the most dynamic editions of the festival yet.

Jazz in June 2026 takes place June 18–20 at Andrews Park in Norman, OK. Admission is free. Free educational workshops begin daily at 2 p.m. at Norman Public Library West and The Well.
